🚨 Gemini 4 Argon takes the #1 spot

It scored 68.90% overall, beating the competition while also costing less per test than Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5.

Strong performance + lower testing cost is a pretty crazy combo

[NinjaCodex @N1njaCodex]

GPT-6.1 Sol mogged Claude Sonnet 5.5

Two models. Two watermelon jellies

Top: Claude Sonnet 5.5 - 8.20$
Bottom: GPT-6.1 Sol - 1.85$

Sol looks juicier, stretches beautifully, and cost 4.4× less in this test

Which one would you keep playing with?

[Max Weinbach @mweinbach]

Google just announced Gemini 4 Argon, their next model. It’s SoTA. It’s so good they are working with the US Government and cyber security testers before release (just like Mythos, Astra)

Google says they used it to profile and optimize their data centers globally, saving 300TB of memory and up to 1PB

It should also be leading on knowledge work, but internally they say they used it to port parts of Fushia to Rust, as well as rewriting SIMD rust code so the rust compiler would vectorize it.

I generally don’t have a positive view of the currently available Gemini models, 3.8 flash is pretty good in Antigravity, but there are better that I would tend to go to before it. Basically anything, to be honest. It’s good but there are plenty that are better.

It seems like Google now has a competitive model, just gotta hope they fixed the Gemini quirks and over reasoning, but given these scores I have a feeling they did.

The Ideas That Built Modern Physics

Physics was built one problem at a time.

Newton’s law of gravity explained how masses attract. Maxwell later showed that electricity and magnetism were deeply connected. Planck’s E = hf opened the door to quantum theory, while Einstein’s E = mc² changed our understanding of mass and energy.

Then Schrödinger described how quantum systems evolve, and Hubble’s observations revealed that the universe itself is expanding.

What makes these ideas remarkable is that each one answered a question while opening the door to another. That is how physics moves forward.

Day 28 of #100DaysOfCode / #100DaysOfPython 🚀

Today I put my #Tkinter skills into practice by building a Pomodoro Timer! 🍅⏱️

🔥 Working with the Tkinter library
🔥 Creating a functional GUI application
🔥 Implementing the Pomodoro technique with timers and countdowns

Another project completed on my #Python journey 🐍💻

When a drone applies a force at an angle to a cart resting on a level surface the force produces a horizontal pull that moves the cart forward and a vertical lift that lightens the load on the wheels, illustrating how vectors separate into independent effects along two perpendicular axes.

[Mopano @Mopanoixp7]

@sl1ma4 I think the comparison is not really correct 🤔
Because we do not know what's meaning of score ! What is the variables and the score is something general in these situations 🤔

[Mopano @Mopanoixp7]

@sl1ma4 I can not see the Fable 5.1 in this statistics ! It only compare Opus and others not Fable 🫤

A rocket doesn’t push against space to move forward. It throws mass backward, and conservation of momentum gives the rocket an equal forward change in momentum.

The Tsiolkovsky rocket equation captures this:

ΔV = ve ln(Mi/Mf)

Higher exhaust velocity helps, but the logarithm means adding more and more fuel gives diminishing returns. That tradeoff is at the heart of rocket design.

Order in deterministic chaos: tiny shifts yield vast divergences.

Three simple nonlinear equations yield boundlessly complex, non-repeating loops. From nearly identical starts, trajectories split into entirely distinct worlds, mapping the beautiful unpredictability of nature itself.

Chaos is not randomness; it is infinite structure unfolding from simple laws.

Elon Musk knew it for some time: If your job is on a computer, AI is taking it like lightning.

Not “some jobs.”
Not “in a few decades.”
The digital ones.
Coding.
Email.
Answering the phone.
Anything that is just a person sitting at a screen.

He called it a supersonic tsunami.

If you move atoms, you last longer.
Plumbing. Welding. Farming. Cooking.
If you move pixels, you don’t.

Drivers are next.
Trucks. Ports. Anything a model can steer.

Working becomes optional.
Not universal basic income.
Universal high income.
Anyone can have the products and services they want.
That’s the benign ending.

He also said there will be a lot of trauma on the way there.

That’s the clip.
Not “AI will help you at work.”
AI replaces the work.
