In the 2014 Ebola outbreak, Lagos almost became a hotspot because of a diplomat travelling from Liberia.
Kenyans should watch the movie "93 days" which chronicles how Ebola got to Nigeria, how the infection spread and how it was contained.
Disaster in the making like the 2014 outbreak. This mob acting just like the mobs in Sierra Leone and Liberia during the 2014 outbreak. Should be cremating or be accompanied by armed forces.
Gentlemen, we're far from seeing the end of the Ebola outbreak, largely due to the ineptitude of Congolese authorities and the ignorance of the population. Take care
Niliquit 9-5 ilikuwa inanilipa 150k/month.
Imenitake two years for my company kunilipa 67k/month na nafanya kazi from 7AM to 11PM every day, na sometimes unapata uko na employees wanakupea the hardest time ever, na kuwafuta kazi ni even more expensive.
Every month uko na bills za kulipa in the millions, end month kila mtu ako happy isipokuwa wewe juu uko na another 30 days kuraise another million. Na imagine all this trouble ndiyo net salary yako ikuwe 50k
Sometimes doh haitoshi unasema wacha ulipe the employees alafu KRA utawatumia yao by 9th, unajaribu kupata loan bank inakataa juu hauna shamba ya security, inafika 15th unapata weird calls, unashika unapata ni KRA, unawaambia utawalipa next Friday, wanakuambia Friday haiwezekani, labda Thursday. Inabidi uongee with one of your clients akulipe mapema, anakusomea akikuambia biz haifanywi hivo but anaitikia eventually.
Next week inafika unalipa KRA, SHA,NSSF, Housing Levy. Unahave some peace kidogo only to realize that next week ni end month na this time uko na deficit kubwa kushinda last month, and the cycle continues.
Kama uko 9-5 na uko sawa, I can’t advise you to quit. Heri ujaribu entrepreneurship in parallel but usiquit job yako. It feels good when you tell people that you quit your job to pursue your dream but you also need to understand that your dream will take time before it starts paying the bills, and it might also die before you eat a shilling from it.
WHAT HAVE WE JUST WITNESSED? 🤯
Sabastian Sawe has just become the first person in history to run a sub two-hour marathon in race conditions.
Yomif Kejelcha was also under two hours for second!
The Apollo missions were fascinating and generated a lot of excitement.
What SpaceX is aiming for (return manned landings on Mars) is incredible but doesn't seem to generate the same kind of hype.
Wonder how much that has to do with the man running the show.
It was said the Saturn V rocket registered as a magnitude 2 on the Richter scale and vibrations felt as far as 2.5km away.
This has double the power of Saturn V, and reusable. Insane.
Witnessing a Starship launch in person must be quite the spectacle.
An unarmed Iranian ship was invited, along with the U.S., to be part of an Indian Naval exercise, and its sailors paraded on land before the president.
The U.S. at the last minute pulled out of the exercise and instead attacked the Iranian ship with a torpedo.
Breaking with all norms of civilization and warfare, we then refused to rescue the drowning survivors. The Sri Lanka Navy was left to pull the dead bodies from the water.
I am hard pressed to think of any other nation throughout history that would do something so cowardly and despicable. We are genuinely in a league of our own, and American media — mostly shrugging off the bombing of a girls school and acting as if carpet bombing Tehran is a normal military tactic — is deeply complicit.
As soon as I'm done speaking with @KenyaPower about an issue, some guy calls threatening to disconnect the account. Didn't have the energy to engage and asked for his Kplc job ID and he immediately hang up.
Question is, how did he get my number and time the call so perfectly?
@Safaricom_Care what happened to Mpesa global payments? It used to be so smooth making AliExpress payments and now it doesn't work. Have tried a few days now.
Real shame given the convenience. Now forced to look for alternatives
Mchele ya boss imefika kwa border my guys. TAX FREE
500 million kilogrammes of rice worth over 50 billion kenya shillings tax free.
Biziness legit. 😂😂😂Kenya ni duka ya mtu wallahi.
When rice farmers in Kenya have harvested and need market for their produce. Someone brings in 500 million kilogrammes of rice into the market. Wow.
Dictatorial regimes are so so unoriginal. Using DCI as your own Gestapo? Look at Romania, Nicolae Ceaușescu tried the same play book. How did that end up for him and his wife?

I’ve finally obtained info on the alleged owner of Maita Hotel. His name is Brigadier Sammy Kipngetich Bii, currently serving as Chief of Finance at the Department of Defence (DOD).
Now, we don’t oppose anyone building a business. But when the individual in question controls taxpayers’ money at such a high level, the public deserves answers.
1. Why did Brig. Bii keep a low profile during the hotel’s launch? He was seen smiling discreetly in the background (frame 2), but never officially acknowledged.
2. Why isn’t the hotel registered under his name? Is there something he’s hiding, or someone he’s hiding behind?
3. Why does the timing of the hotel’s construction align so neatly with his appointment as Chief of Finance?
4. Why were political figures like Prof. Bitok, a known ally of President Ruto, present at the launch? This points to deeper political connections.
At the same time, the government is scrapping lunch subsidies for ordinary soldiers, while top officers appear to be living large without scrutiny.
I call on the Parliamentary Defence Committee to open an immediate inquiry into these allegations. Public servants must be held accountable. Transparency should be normalized.
