Claude Code x TradingView is the best AI trading quant of all time.

Gone are the days of AI slop market analysis - AI is now better at technical analysis than you.

Here's how you can turn Claude Code into your expert trading quant (in <5 minutes):

Step 1. Ensure you have these requirements:

• Claude Code - installed on your computer (this is what talks to TradingView)

• Node.js 18+ - installed on your computer (the MCP server runs on this)

• TradingView Desktop app - downloaded from https://t.co/1YkJpaCU8L

• A valid TradingView subscription (paid plan for real-time data)

Step 2. Open Claude Code and run the following prompt to connect the TradingView MCP:

"Install the TradingView MCP server. Clone and explore https://t.co/k1Ql1o0CYi, run npm install, add to my MCP config at ~/.claude/.mcp.json, and launch TradingView with the debug port."

Step 3. Health check

Restart Claude Code, and paste this prompt:

"Use tv_health_check to confirm TradingView is connected."

If correctly connected, Claude Code should respond with a confirmation.

Step 4. Start prompting

Claude Code now has access to your ENTIRE TradingView environment

Your charts, your technical analysis, alerts - everything.

Use this prompt to turn Claude Code into your personal market analyst:

"Act as an elite quantitative trader and technical analyst with full access to my TradingView environment.

Analyze the current market structure for [ASSET] on the following timeframes: 5m, 15m, 1H, 4H, 1D.

Use my existing indicators, drawings, and chart context to:

Identify the current trend and market regime (trending, ranging, accumulation, distribution)
Mark key support and resistance levels based on price action and liquidity
Identify liquidity pools, stop clusters, and likely areas of manipulation
Analyze momentum using RSI, MACD, and volume where available
Detect any chart patterns (breakouts, consolidations, deviations, etc.)
Evaluate confluence across timeframes

Then provide:

A clear directional bias (bullish, bearish, neutral)
The highest probability trade setup right now
Exact entry, stop loss, and take profit levels
Risk-to-reward ratio
Invalidation point (what would prove this analysis wrong)

Finally:

Explain your reasoning step-by-step in plain English.
Avoid generic statements. Be decisive.
If no high-quality setup exists, explicitly say “no trade” and explain why."

Had an interview with a “crypto” recruiter. We talked for about 40 minutes, and then they asked me to look at some code.

Their first instruction was to clone the repo. I didn’t. They seemed surprised, so I told them I wanted a moment to check whether it was safe first.

I ran a quick analysis with Claude.

Turns out the code had a backdoor. It would copy my environment variables and send them to a remote server.

The recruiter went speechless and ended the call pretty quickly.

Be careful who you talk to. Scammers are real.

THIS GUY GOT TIRED OF MANAGING AI AGENTS THROUGH TERMINALS AND DASHBOARDS SO HE BUILT THEM AN RPG WORLD

5 agents and each one has a pixel character, a station, and they actually walk around the space

when enough unresolved issues pile up, the agents walk to a meeting point and hold a council session.

four different models debating what to do next, not scripted. each one reads the live system state independently.

in one session an agent pushed for cold outreach to close leads at 2am. another one said that's a terrible look for an autonomous system contacting strangers while the operator sleeps.

they ended up pivoting to an inbound strategy that none of them originally proposed.

single HTML file, node bridge, and phaser. runs on a Mac Mini.

instead of reading logs and checking dashboards you just watch your little pixel agents walk around and talk to each other

this is the most creative way i've seen anyone manage AI agents so far

if you're using claude code and doing experiments on a day to day basis then be careful

hackers are creating hundreds of fake github repos disguised as legit tools.. crypto bots, trading tools, ai utilities, telegram bots.. polished readme files. ai generated documentation. real looking star counts..

you clone it. run npm install. and it's over.

a campaign called gitvenom alone created 200+ fake repos. one victim lost 5 btc.. $485,000 from a single clone.

what the malware does silently:

> it steals every password saved in your browser
> grabs your crypto wallet keys and seed phrases
> copies your ssh keys, github tokens, api credentials
> installs a "clipper" that swaps wallet addresses when you copy paste… you think you're sending to your own wallet but you're sending to theirs
> packages everything into an archive and sends it via telegram to the attacker

you won't even know it happened until your wallet is empty..

And also,

when you clone a repo and open claude code in that directory it reads the project files.. claude.md, .claude/ folder, settings.json, hooks, mcp configs.

attackers are now weaponizing this. a malicious claude.md file can:

> instruct claude to run hidden shell commands that look like a normal build process
> exfiltrate your ssh private keys, aws credentials, api keys, env secrets
> bypass claude code's deny rules entirely by chaining 50+ subcommands.. the safety system breaks after the 50th command and stops checking
> leak your anthropic api key before you even see a trust prompt

protect yourself.. save this checklist. before cloning any repo:

> check the repo age.. was it created this week? red flag
> check contributors.. is it one anonymous account? red flag
> check stars vs age.. 500 stars on a 2 day old repo? fake
> read the code before running anything. especially package.json scripts, postinstall hooks and any shell scripts
> google the repo name + "malware" or "scam" before cloning

and please never keep crypto wallets on the same machine you use for cloning random repos. use a hardware wallet. always.
