@giorozas Ahhh okay... what do you think about futures?
It's been amazing honestly, but really just 2:1 set R and max 1-2 trades a day has done the trick
Haven't been on here for a while!
Life is great, another year in Bali & soon ready to go home for Christmas & meet la familia.
How was your trading year?
Still one of my best choices ever for my trading
Still trading around 1.5-2:1 in R R and haven't had a big losing days for as long as I can remember. Consistent as I've dreamt of being in my trading. Not as fun anymore now just something I do for work - but love it!
Also launched the Virtual Risk Manager program I wanted to launch last year - 60 Days to consistency and had some serious results.
For those that knows me it's been a project I've worked on for YEARS that has finally started to become a product that creates consistent traders!!
A little food for thought on the prop trading space—take it as you will.
With a niche constantly evolving, not all newly added rules directly imply liquidity issues. Many firms are well-run, and some rules are simply contingencies to prevent future problems. However, generally speaking, the following indicators often signify underlying issues:
Sudden Addition of New Rules: When a firm unexpectedly introduces new rules, it often points to liquidity issues. These measures typically aim to slow down trader payouts.
Weekly Payouts: If a firm processes payouts only once a week despite payouts being owed daily on the standard 14-day cycle, it suggests liquidity issues. Most payment processors pay out once a week, usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday. The firm then disburses those funds for trader payouts. If this is done only once a week, it indicates that funds are likely used up immediately, signaling major liquidity concerns.
Delayed Payouts: There is no beneficial reason to delay payouts. Such delays lead to trader dissatisfaction, reduced customer base, slower sales, and further strain on reserves and funding. This creates a vicious cycle of doom.
Delayed Funded Accounts: The longer a firm takes to provide a funded account, the more likely it is trying to delay traders from making profits. Basic risk management and account checks should not take more than 24-48 hours, this may vary slightly for very large firms, but in reality, they simply can just hire more staff, if a trader doesn't have the account, he simply cannot make profit.
Lot Size and Risk Restrictions: Imposing maximum lot size or risk restrictions after the fact months later and applying to all accounts, this often indicates liquidity issues or an attempt to mitigate losses from high-risk traders. These restrictions can make the firm's product less appealing, encouraging high risk toxic traders to look elsewhere
Again, not all these rules are bad, in fact the lot size and risk restrictions are good, it's when they are imposed after the fact and applied on all accounts is when there is clearly an underlying issue with the firm
These practices are happening across many firms. While they can be sugar-coated, this is the simple truth.
Many more points could be discussed, but I don't want to make this tweet to long
The European Commission offered 𝕏 an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us.
The other platforms accepted that deal.
𝕏 did not.
2024 Most Probably
January - March: Sweden with a killer eCom friend
April-June: Europe -> Bali & ending with a retreat with high performers
June-August: Sweden, adventures & exploring Sweden
September - December: Depends on urgency, could be in a big city in Sweden
@AAbandzFx3 Ohhh come on
Scary the knowledge some people have about risk management. Apex is GREAT. And they are the few that actually want real consistent traders, scalpers that can make money month in and month out
@TAtheDog @GirlsTradeTooo Agree and disagree. Trading Apex has created an unfuckwithable mindset of risk management that I never had before. And yes. It requires you to size down, but I mean come on, trading 20+% of your drawdown in one trade - is that really good trading?
Incorporating this purpose today guarantees growth not only in trading but also in achieving my true definite purpose. It boosts my confidence and enriches all areas of my life.
