@jbo911 Instead of soldiering on with something like a Destiny 3, it is better to make something new to fill the gap. Marathon isn't that, and I don't think it was ever meant to be that.
False equivalency. FFXIV and WoW almost single-handedly keep their companies afloat. Them ending would be a shock. The writing has been on the wall for Destiny since The Final Shape. It's more akin to something like SWTOR, which I imagine would shock very few if it ended.
This is a question for the WoW and FFXIV players. Howโd you react if Blizzard or SE ended updates for your games suddenly? Thatโs how Destiny players are feeling
@jbo911 They need to accept some facts. The game, and arguably the franchise, is worn. The story just hit its climax and has been spinning its tires since TFS. The opportunity cost of maintaining it vs creating something else is getting harder to overcome.
@Yeenie_Mcbeenie They should put in the ancient pre-Judaic gods of the pantheon that the Cult of Yahweh belonged to before they killed all the other cults in the pantheon
@ItsBobbySocks It kept Bungie afloat by virtue of being the only thing Bungie had, and Bungie looks more like a sinking ship now. Sony has increasingly seen them as a liability and over the past few years have been stripping the company of talent and resources to re-allocate to other projects.
