@DiscoNagurski @AGStover @elonmusk We do not have the electrical grid off of carbon-based fuels nor is any of our farming technology that way nor is any of our pharmaceutical technology that way. Right now over 70% of our electric grid is cool and 90% of our agricultural fleet is diesel.

However they are not in place at this time and if you wanted to live in a pre-industrialized society you would not have any electricity or food to sustain the population we currently have.

@mayemusk My parents where both cops and they have always told me never own a firearm unless you know you will pull the trigger. Fire arms are often taken from home owners who hesitate to shoot and turned on them. So if you know you cant kill find some other means of defense.

@dna1211 @POTUS A executive order would be over turned in the courts and the people who own them would never sell them to the government and if he tried to stop the ammo it would cause a run on ammunition.
He is in a difficult position he could probably pass age based restrictions.

@POTUS @mayemusk Until both parties heal the division in this country there will be no fire arms legislation. You have large portions of the population 10s of millions of people thinking other people from this country want to slaughter them this is a sad reality but it is why nothing will pass.
