Once more for the bigots: singular 'they' is a long-established, grammatically correct, standard English usage and no amount of you getting huffy about it is going to change that.

@JackDunc1 And why is it always “brutal” honesty? Why does no one ever declare that they’re “kindly honest”? Or “gently honest”?
Obviously because people who are those things don’t need to come up with an excuse for being toxic arseholes.
