@ospfranco I like old yarn workspaces, each app its own project/package (own package.json, etc) keeping app-specific code and config nicely organised. Probably don't need workspaces any more, but used to be a good solve for Metro issue #1 that prevented imports from higher than proj root

I removed dotenv from my Node app and moved to --env-file flag on startup script.
Then that let me remove a dynamic require and my app startup time went from 1300ms to 1ms
If you have index files in your app code that look like this, just delete them ❌
Import directly; avoid barrel files. They don't really make your codebase more organized, and have a bunch of downsides.
