Breathing fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 my pen is fearless
ink and blood flowing
parchment a reddened indigo
of vistas and visages
of plumage and plunder
subtleties, subterfuges
of Kingdoms enkindled.
@DollyT222027 Promoting on social media doesn't always mean shoving your link in people's faces. Simply talking about your characters, stories, or cover introduces people to your brand. If you are an author, you should constantly be promoting in some way. Even if its just promoting yourself.
@DollyT222027 I use Canva to make little graphics that I post on my various social media accounts, usually a few times a week. It's not much, but it does lead to a few sales here and there. Here are some examples.
How often do you promote your books on social media, or how often do you think other authors should promote theirs? I want to start marketing a little more, but I'm worried about overwhelming people. That's probably why I post a link to my books maybe once or twice a month 😅
The journey of a book doesn’t end at launch. Even if it was quiet, there’s still plenty of time to promote, sell, and find an audience.
Over time my books have gained traction, success and glowing reviews. Keep going and the rewards will follow!
My pen
in fervent love
years ago, decided to move
to that locality, the den
of heart’s affection
with promise to give attention
full attention
fertile attention
penning
creations of wild imaginations
vistas of vivid versifications
Alas, years go by
pen in ink hangs
in air!
A writer never has a vacation. For a writer life consists of either #writing or thinking about writing.

“Every morning between 9 and 12 I go to my room and sit before a piece of paper. Many times, I just sit for three hours with no ideas coming to me. But I know one thing. If an idea does come between 9 and 12 I am there ready for it.”

Do you write your stories with a specific message in mind? Sometimes, but most often, the message emerges as I build the story #writingq#WritingCommunity
