A massive thank you to everyone who donated to make the cup final display possible!
Now we need your help to set it up - we only have a short window to get it done.
A free bus will leave Pittodrie for Hampden at 06:30 on Friday and return as soon as set up is complete.
If you live closer to Hampden then help would also be enormously appreciated.

‼️ Important Merkland info for tomorrow:
- If you have a flag at your seat, please wave it as the teams enter the pitch. Help would be appreciated in passing or returning flags to the front of the stand at half time.
- If you have another item at your seat in the middle sections, make sure it's slightly unravelled and aim high towards the edge of the roof. Please only use it as the teams enter the pitch. Don't waste it early or later on.
- Scotia Bar is open at 10am. Drink enough but get to your seat in plenty of time before kick off at 12.
Sing as loud as possible! COYR
To the Scottish lawmakers,
The alcohol ban in Scottish football is long overdue to be lifted.
In practice, the ban causes fans to drink more before games than if they could drink at the game. It causes fans to rush their drinks and consume more in the limited time they have in the pub or on the supporters bus. The crowds then arrive from all over the place minutes before kick off.
We believe fans should be able to drink at their seat. Any area or time restriction on consumption, in practice, only contributes to drinks being rushed and larger quantities consumed.
Football fans across most of Europe are afforded the right to sit or stand with their friends watching their team while drinking a pint. It's a social occasion. Scottish fans are not any worse behaved than any of those countries, and in fact many of them see us as model supporters.
The fact that fans can drink in the pub from opening time till 14.59, but can't drink at the stadium at any time, is impossible to justify.
Millwall fans can buy pints at an automated self-service facility at their games, but Peterhead fans can't drink at their games.
The same Scots can go to a rugby match at Murrayfield or Hampden and drink, but can't if the sport on the pitch is football. The same people can go to Pittodrie and drink as long as they pay for a hospitality package.
Aberdeen fans can go to away games in UEFA competitions and drink, but can't in the home leg.
The contradictions are endless.
We guarantee that lifting the alcohol ban would see a range of benefits for all parties:
- Huge increase in revenue for clubs from drinks sales and likely increase in ticket sales from the improved matchday experience.
- Supporters would go to the ground earlier instead of at the last minute, putting them in a controlled environment which would be of huge benefit from an organisational and segregation point of view.
- Better atmosphere in the stadium during the game and pre-match, contributing to the USP of Scottish football. Fans simply sing far more with a drink in their hand, often singing for hours in the pub only to go quiet in the stadium.
We believe lifting the ban would be transformational for Scottish football. We encourage initial trial runs in the lowest category games, building up to nearly all games. We expect self-policing and responsibility to prevail, but we also understand that fans are already drinking in a less controlled, less ideal way than if the ban was lifted. Family stands and specified areas can be kept alcohol free to give people a choice.
Stop thinking about the extremely small number of the highest risk fixtures, and start applying common sense to the vast majority of fixtures in every division of Scottish football.
We call on those with the power in Scotland to review their beliefs and current position, stop the exceptionalism and bring the ability to drink while watching football in line with modern, civilised countries.

UA SECTION 2025/26
A new season gives a new chance to start afresh and build from the ground up.
Tickets will be far more controlled, expectations raised and you can get involved in all aspects and access to travel and merchandise.
Whether renewing or buying first time, you need to email the new address for ticketing, which will also deal with match tickets.
SING THE DONS TO VICTORY ON SUNDAY. Get in the ground, stay on your feet and give 100% vocal support from the warm ups to the final whistle. We have to win.
We're fundraising for the first ever full stadium display at Pittodrie vs Celtic on 4th December.
We want everyone in the stadium to be involved in the atmosphere on the night.
We would greatly appreciate your support to make this happen.

Just as we've recovered from Saturday which had a huge turnout and great build up for hours before the game, the Dons need us again.
Get to the pub as early as you can.
5:30pm kick off to go top of the league needs everyone up for it.
We ask everyone in the Merkland to head to the Scotia 3/4/5 hours before the game as if it was an away.
Tunes will be on all day. New additions to the menu.
We encourage those in the section and the rest of the Merkland to head to the Scotia on Saturday.🍺
A centralised place to gather before games should help the atmosphere and make it easier to get involved going forward.
5.30pm kick off.
