@AirVentInc
How do you open the thermostat for the PowerCool Plus 15? Do you need to pry it open with a screwdriver??

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

#netappchat A8 - They will be required to manage more capacity with less head count. Workflow Automation and Orchestration are critical.

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

A7 We need to provide the storage infrastructure that will allow customers to the flexibility to move in/out of the cloud #netappchat

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

A7. Customers will be moving to the cloud. Maybe not ALL apps, but they will be moving some. #netappchat

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

@ajbergh #netapphat. A6 .
BINGO. A lot of customers don't understand their current workloads.

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

Consistent and predicatable response times. #netappchat

That is why Non-disruptive operations (NDO) is a key focus with Clustered Data ONTAP. #netappchat

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

Storage outages are not tolerated...PERIOD. In a shared infrastructure, the impact is not just to one app.... EVERYONE suffers. #netappchat

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

"On-Demand" Virtual Storage Tiering also keep the most "active" data closest to the CPU. No policies to manage. #netappchat

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

NetApp offers QoS policies that will throttle specific applications from consuming resources from the business critical apps. #netappchat

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

Biggest concern. How will by business crit apps not get impacted by "other" workloads in a shared storage infrastructure? #netappchat

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

#netappchat A3. SAP uses NetApp for software development and leverage the cloning technologies that NetApp provides.

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

#netappchat Allow applications to migrate to/from private cloud to public cloud. "Storage in the Cloud". https://t.co/C9ppHNUeDD

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

@furrier #netappchat Non-disruptive upgrades to the storage environment. Never take the applications offline to change/upgrade/install.

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

@furrier #netappchat Customers are looking to virtualize whenever possible. Moving to a consolidated storage infrastructure is critical.

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

A lot of customers are trying to see if vitualized environment will be able to handle the biz critical applications.

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

#netappchat test

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

@jasoneknight glad to hear it.

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

@jasoneknight How are the broken bones?

[Michael O'Rourke @MORourke1225]

Ted, I could not agree more. The "anything goes " value system in our society leads to moral decay and we are witnessing this every day
