I wholeheartedly agree with you on WR.
I don't know what it would take, but I wonder if the Rams want Puka Nacua in LA long-term.
He's been the most productive WR in ball the last 3 years. But he hit a rough patch recently off the field and maybe CA is not the best environment for him.
He's a BYU kid. Mormon, like Andy Reid.
Make the call, Brett. Send Rashee Rice and a pick. Give them their 3rd back from the McDuffie trade if needed.
Mahomes needs someone to get open and catch the damn ball when it counts after Kelce is gone.
@DMacWake316 I don't understand why we wouldn't call Von Miller to come in as a pass rush specialist. He idolized Derrick Thomas. It would be a wonderful poke in the eye to Denver. 10 sack, 22 hurries, 4 QB hits last year on 289 pass rush snaps.
It is an abomination to let RBs, 3rd string TEs, and any defensive player wear a number in the teens.
It really screws things up for the QB/K/P/WR groups.
#10 for a RB is vomit. Have we not learned our lesson? And he's just going to have to change it when Tyreek returns.
And #42 is just sitting there for Thomas. #34 for an EDGE is abysmal.
Lastly, you've got 3 guys wearing #14 (Nuss, Haener and Araiza, who is not on the roster for some reason).
Love Woods in 99 and Delane in 5 is fine.
Assuming Fields in 6?
At EDGE, it's gotta be a trade for the Chiefs.
I'd send a 5th and a 2027 day 3 pick to the Giants for Thibodeaux.
Backup plan? Day 3 pick for Lukas Van Ness, who is sitting behind Micah in Green Bay.
@ChiefsBlitz 29 + 2027 2nd + Rice or Worthy...if needed.
Sounds like Maxx is going to stay a Raider. PacMan Jones is saying he's going to be a Bengal though, lol.
How about Chris Jones for Maxx, player for player?
He had 4 in '24 and 2 in '23.
Played as 3-4 OLB last year when the Saints switched systems and he logged 590 snaps, or 54%, 2nd lowest-snap count of his career.
The past 2 seasons, he's had 19 hurries and QB knockdowns combined. For comparison's sake, Karlaftis has had 53. Omenihu had 15.
So if you want to pay him to come in to be a 3rd-down pass rusher, okay, but not for $10-15M per year. $4-5M with incentives? Fine.
But that doesn't solve our problems on 1st & 2nd down.
