@nick_underhill I don't understand how intent can even be a part of this. How can they say with certainty he wasn't intending to pump fake? That would not be an intention to throw a pass. Just feels like they are making rules up for the sake of making themselves a bigger part of the game.

The FOX NFL explanation was that the "intent" was to throw the ball forward.

So I guess every interception is actually a completion since that's the intent, too.

@Saints @NFL @NFLOfficiating please explain when "intent" has become a factor in throwing a pass? Absolutely ridiculous. There's a clear line - and if the ball goes backwards, its a backwards pass. Case closed.
