@GoodKidManCity 42% of PL titles in his life time have been won by city, if we assume the first one he can remember was when he was 6 years old then that number goes upto 54%
@fukxumean There used to be a time when signing an unknown Brazilian for big money was the most exciting thing ever, I prefer to not look at the stats or videos and instead live with my head in the clouds, he’s a Neymar regen until he proves otherwise
@raducrisanx Sticking the knife into one of our own? Whatever your thoughts on his performance yesterday I’m not sure what he could’ve done differently here, he’s a 21 year old life long fan the treatment he gets from some people on here is genuinely disgusting
@SheikhMCI Not our best but certainly not our worst, atleast all 4 plugged holes for the time being, I’m pretty accepting of the fact it will take us a couple more windows to get a settled squad again
@SheikhMCI Don’t think any are particularly bad signings, just hasn’t worked as well as we’d have hoped, all of them were signed at a time when they were desperately needed and were probably just about the best options we had
@SheikhMCI Savio looked a steal, he was wanted by other top clubs, and actually did have an okay first season, Marmoush did well for half a season but had disruptions and never got going last year, Reijnders looked a steal and was probably misprofiled, and Nico has always played fairly well
@slbsn If we’re being honest nobody can complain about the outgoings, Ait Nouri Lewis and Kovacic also wouldn’t be missed, it’s just the lack of replacements that’s the worry
@RealTolmie I feel now Maresca is simply keeping the seat warm for Kompany the same as Pellegrini did for Pep, the club is clearly undergoing a hard reset so we’re best positioned for his arrival, unlike when Pep came and we wasted a year as the squad was not up to par
@SheikhMCI Only Donna and Gvardiol, O’Reilly/Khusanov/Anderson/Doku/Cherki/Foden have the potential to be and have already shown world class moments, think Dias was previously but I don’t see him getting back to that level
@RealTolmie The very same people were treating Gvardiol no different 2 months ago, the good news is after a couple losses under Maresca they’ll be off supporting someone else anyway
@AdamJoseph Leny Yoro 2024, 18 years old - €60m, Jeremy Jacquet 2026, 20 years old -€70m, Bouaddi more experienced and the price for midfielders is higher, bare in mind City hasn’t agreed a deal yet either so could be less than €100m, use your brain instead of being another bitter red
@RealTolmie He’s a ballon dor winner, even with another injury no club in the world is turning him down, perhaps he’d be offered slightly less but he wouldn’t struggle, I have no issues with him leaving on a free if we get 1 more season at his best out of him
