@wuxiefornoevil Not at all, really. They're not related by blood and I don't think they know much about Zhang Qiling at all.
The only one with some knowledge and connections to the family is Zhang Haiqi, but the boys grow up mostly isolated.
@wuxiefornoevil To be fair, I read only like half of the extras, because the rest didn't catch my interest. ๐ฅฒ
The Southern Archives Zhangs don't have much to do with the rest, if that helps? The two main characters barely know anything about the family. They're crazy entirely on their own. ๐

@CarmenMedinaXQ Yeah, I can watch those on Youku. :)
I really hope Viki will pick it up after it has aired in Japan. If not, I'll wait until more subtitle groups have started working on proper subs.
When you discover a Chinese actor who's EASILY on par with one Tom Hiddleston in terms of acting range, micro expressions & being painfully beautiful when suffering (while being 15 years younger) and it kind of makes you sad that the rest of the world will never know his name. ๐ฅฒ
@CarmenMedinaXQ Same. Just too bad that on the website where I wanted to watch the rest with good subtitles (and not machine translated ones) all the episodes have been taken down and I haven't found a good substitute yet. ๐ญ
@CarmenMedinaXQ Yeah, really feels like it sometimes. ๐
I have watched only one episode of Justice in the Dark so far and his acting immediately convinced me of his genius, he was just SO GOOD.
Can't wait to see him act alongside Ding Yuxi (who's equally amazing) in Southern Archives. ๐ฅฐ
