It was an unbelievable honor to join the great @BenShapiro today to launch my new book, “When the Stones Speak: The Remarkable Discovery of the City of David and What Israel's Enemies Don't Want You To Know”
As Ben said in our conversation today, what’s happening in Israel isn’t about territory, it’s about history.
If you want to understand that history, buy “When the Stones Speak” today (link in comments)
@TamirGoodman@PJLibrary This is one of the better PJ Library books. Nostalgic memories for the adult reading to his kids, good lessons and subjects to discuss with them. Thank you Tamir, it was heartwarming.
@JewsUShouldKnow@arnonshorr Ari, thanks for introducing me to @arnonshorr. Just bought two copies of José and the Pirate Captain Toledano after listening to this conversation. My kids love Dav Pilkey's Dog Man so I am excited to have a graphic novel of Jewish interest to put in their reading queue.
@senderowiczj@hchesner I heard Rabbi Benjamin Blech say on a podcast recently with certainty that the Vatican has the ציץ of the Kohen Gadol 14 or 16 floors below ground. *A Jew from the Italian army saw it.*
@hchesner When I was a kid there were rumors in my Yeshiva that some of Columbus’s papers were found and they had בס״ד on the top right corner. This was proof to minds of 7 yr olds that Columbus was a (Marrano) Jew.
@jacklanger This speech from 2000 by Rookie Billet (my mom) to a convention of shadchanim was pretty great. Good stories etc. https://t.co/vEB5BdmqNP Recently converted from cassette to digital.
@DBashIdeas@ShabbosReads@artscroll My father took me to Rabbi Freifeld’s funeral when I was a boy. It’s my first memory of a funeral. I turned around during recitation of tehillim and saw Rabbi Herzberg crying. I didn’t understand who Rabbi Freifeld was but I was deeply moved by Rabbi Herzberg’s tears.
