@shinmiri2@the_saltyCPT@PlayGwent@lerio2_pl If triple tugo (or any sabbath deck for that matter) was a problem we'd actually see them get played.
Sabbath is very easy to counterplay to the point that I honestly don't think I've ever lost to a single sabbath deck on stream. Ask any of my viewers, I talk through...
@shinmiri2@the_saltyCPT@PlayGwent@lerio2_pl Tugo's design is such that it takes so much investment and setup to get value that there's no point playing it unless you get to use it multiple times. That's a flaw with tugo's design, not with sabbath.
Good morning! 👑 King Derp and I are going live with Gwent in a few minutes.
Thanks to a generous donation that came in while I was offline, we might actually reach our fundraising goal for April this weekend.
If we do, I have a special outfit ready to wear in celebration 😅🤯
Derp is sponsoring a Bo9 showmatch between me and @rogbros today at 3pm pacific (4.5h from this post) with special rules.
Each player will bring 6 decks and we will take turns picking decks from the pool of 12 in a MOBA style draft.

Seen a lot of takes on the meta in marvel snap as well as some of the issues as of late. Thought I would summarise my issues with things as of late.
- I actually don’t find the meta that bad as many seem to point. I do however think there are a few issues but in terms of deck variety I do see at least 6+ strong competitive decks right now.
- I do agree the meta has become somewhat stale feeling due to the fact that we haven’t had much meaningful changes in a while. i believe snap needs some big shakeups. What I mean by this is right now the meta is dominated by zabu shang chi as well as hela. I do not think hela should ever be a tier 1 deck as it is difficult to counter and a lot of its strategy comes from rng yet consistent enough rng to make it tier 1. Shang chi/zabu on the other hand has become a midrange package that have just become a crutch for most decks to include as it offers great points while giving control options.
- Next issue being loki. While I understand that loki does not have the craziest of stats, it is also a much more nuanced deck that in the hands of the masses won’t perform as well as high tier gameplay. If you watch any tournament you see plenty of loki. The best players in the world are not playing loki because they enjoy the deck but because it is good. While i do not believe loki is insanely strong or anything I think it has some frustrating features such as being able to stuff a million tech cards in your deck with little drawback while also having very strong points of its own thanks to zabu midrangey package.
People often defend loki saying its stats are not that great but when you compare loki to lets say hela, hela is a very simple deck to play, anyone can play it half decently but loki takes a bit more nuance to play hence why the masses drag its stats down and make it look worse than it is.
-Lastly and I think this is my biggest issue with snap atm is it feels like new features and content (outside of new cards at least) come out at such a painfully slow pace it makes me wonder if we are ever going to see half the things promised? A simple undo button that would make the world of difference to the game has been “coming soon” for since as long as I can remember. Global matchmaking, another huge feature that is very much needed is nowhere to be seen and to top it off we have roadmaps discussing features that will be added but at the pace that it goes I feel like it will take years to get the current planned features in game.
