No matter how this plays out, it’s unfortunate that we couldn’t get it done with Kawhi Leonard. People love to hate on the 2019 trade but are forgetting the unfortunate injuries and circumstances that stopped us from winning a championship. Barring injuries in 2021, we more then likely win a championship, if Paul George and Kawhi Leonard go into the 2023 playoffs healthy we would’ve been a tough team to beat. Same can be said for 2024. No matter what I’ll always appreciate Kawhi Leonard, undoubtedly the best player in franchise history and the opportunity to see him play for my favorite team was an honor.
