A woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Tlhabane, North West, on Thursday evening shortly after returning home from work. Police arrested the suspect, who is being held at Tlhabane SAPS and is expected to appear in court on a murder charge. Investigations are ongoing.

It is alleged that human remains and several things including shoes were discovered inside a crocodile that was shot in the Nkomazi River in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga. This comes after a businessman went missing after his vehicle was swept away while crossing a flooded low-lying bridge. Different human shoes were also discovered raising alarm about this crocodile.

The SAPS search and rescue team shot the crocodile while sun gazing at the riverbanks after noticing that it was not moving even when the helicopter was approaching. They believed it was still processing after feasting. It is not known if the shoes belonged to people who lost their lives or if they were simply consuming anything that had a human aroma.
