Once upon a time, Perfect Persian lounged gracefully on a park bench under a towering oak tree, her snow-white fur glowing in the light. Her dinosaur friend, Dynamic Dinosaur, stood beside her, his massive tail swaying gently as he scanned the park. The bench groaned in relief—Dynamic was far too large to sit on it.
Perfect Persian let out a dramatic sigh, watching a pair of humans toss breadcrumbs to some birds. “Look at them, Dynamic. Blissfully unaware of my efforts at the library. I keep it spotless, books in perfect order, and mice under control. Yet, not a single thank-you.”
Dynamic Dinosaur chuckled, his deep voice startling a flock of pigeons. “Perfect, you’ve got to stop waiting for applause. You’re going to hurt your neck craning for praise like that.”
Perfect Persian shot him a sharp glare. “Easy for you to say. You don’t run an entire library. What do you even do, Dynamic? Stand around looking prehistoric?”
Dynamic scratched his head with a claw, his scales shimmering in the sunlight. “I carry this enormous tail around, for starters. And if you must know, I pick up trash when the humans litter. No one notices that, either, but I do it anyway.”
Perfect Persian narrowed her emerald eyes. “That’s different. You don’t strive for perfection like I do.”
Dynamic leaned down, his massive head level with hers. “No, Perfect, it’s the same. The world isn’t about applause—it’s about doing what’s right, even if no one claps. Your library is a sanctuary because of you, and the humans know it, even if they don’t say it.”
Perfect Persian blinked, caught off guard by his words. She looked at the swaying grass under their feet and murmured, “So… my work matters, even if it goes unnoticed?”
Dynamic nodded, a grin spreading across his face. “Exactly. The stunned sun doesn’t ask for thanks every time it rises, but we’d all miss it if it didn’t.”
Perfect Persian flicked her tail thoughtfully, then tilted her head toward him. “That’s surprisingly wise, Dynamic.”
Dynamic stood up straight, his shadow stretching over her. “I have my moments. Now, are we done sulking? There’s a basketball 🏀 butterfly 🦋 I’ve been meaning to chase.”
Perfect Persian laughed—a rare sound. “Go ahead, big guy. Just don’t break another bench.”
As Dynamic lumbered off after the 🏀 butterfly, Perfect Persian stayed on the bench, feeling lighter. For the first time, she let herself bask in the quiet satisfaction of her work.
And for a fleeting moment, she thought, “Perhaps I am like the stunned sun.” Then she smiled to herself and purred, “Perfect Persian, content with perfection.”

“Dedicated Dragonfly’s Snowstorm Escape”
❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ⛄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️
The sky turned gray, the snow came down,
The coldest storm was in the town.
But Dedicated Dragonfly spread her wings,
Determined to do extraordinary things.
💨 💨 💨
The wind it howled, the roads were bare,
But she knew her task was waiting there.
Through frosty air and icy dread,
She flew to fetch her milk and bread.
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Oh, Dedicated Dragonfly, brave and true,
Flying high with a heart so blue.
Through the snow, where the brave won’t tread,
She brought back home her milk and bread.
The line was long, the shelves were thin,
There was barely anything left in the bins,
But Dedicated wouldn’t lose her cool,
She stayed in line, her patience a tool.
With her tiny bag and her mighty heart,
She gathered her goods, and blew a tiny fart 💨
Before the shelves could empty out,
She flew back home with a victorious shout!
Oh, Dedicated Dragonfly, brave and true,
Flying high with a heart so blue.
Through the snow, where the brave won’t tread,
She brought back home her milk and bread.
Let this be a lesson to one and all,
No storm too big, no task too small.
With grit and grace, she forged ahead,
And won the race for milk and bread.
Now in her home, all cozy and warm,
She smiles at the fading storm.
Dedicated Dragonfly, flying star,
A hero in the snowstorm, near and far!
