I’ve loved the sharing of joy, knowledge, creativity and community on Twitter. I will miss it, and hope we can find it in other places.

The big road is so busy that the gap between cars is never quiet big enough to pull out safely.
She thinks she’s waiting for traffic to change, when she’s really just waiting to become desperate enough to pull out anyway.
@SocialistNHS For those of us who aren’t on strike, but reside near places where strikes will be happening: what’s the most useful thing to take along? Tea and biscuits? Sandwiches? Sweets? Just leave people to get on with it?
if i disappear and don't answer messages for days at a time, it's not because i'm mad at you, it's because i'm feeling overwhelmed and the idea of needing to read, think through, and formulate a well-worded response makes me want to retract into my own body like a feral turtle
@Warlockdnd While I don’t have the IQ to back it up, I otherwise feel like I have this dynamic with some of my friends IRL. I swear I’m a reasonably smart and competent person in some contexts! But when I sit and roll dice with some of my favorite people, I am not to be trusted with fire.

But he knows no such thing.
Every word in that sentence is meaningless. There is no couch, no dog, and certainly no permission to be gained.
There is only love moving through the universe, and it cannot be denied.
