There are at least 5 stages of grief & hardly any are easy to be around. If this is your holiday & someone you know is grieving— be kind, be generous, be forgiving of the rough edges. While the circumstances of a loss might be shared, the experience is always, always singular.

The library sent my 92yr old blind senior an audio book about Hitler & cocaine instead of Michelle O’Brien’s (aka Obama’s) book. There will be some additional airing of grievances tonight I think.
