🚨 Jose Mourinho questions Erik ten Hag’s assessment of Cristiano Ronaldo:
“To me, finished means you can no longer help a team win. Cristiano went to Juventus and scored over a hundred goals, returned to United and scored eighteen in one Premier League season, then continued scoring after leaving.
Of course the Cristiano of 41 is not the Cristiano of 27. If he were, I’d ask scientists to examine him.
I remember telling him at Madrid, ‘Cristiano, I want to play you to your strengths. Today I don’t need you chasing the full-back for 90 minutes. I need you in the box when the chance arrives.’
He asked, ‘Mister, what if the chance doesn’t arrive?’
I said, ‘Then we create it.’
He smiled. ‘Good. Because I’ll be there.’
That is football. A manager must know what his best players can still give him.
One of my assistants once complained, ‘Mister, Cristiano didn’t track his man.’
I asked, ‘How many did he score?’
‘Two.’
‘And did we win?’
‘Yes, but the structure…—’
I told him, ‘The structure is supposed to help us win, not give us something to complain about after winning.’
Of course every player must work. I’ve argued with Cristiano myself. But you cannot judge a goalscorer only by how often he chases the opposition goalkeeper.
If Erik said, ‘Cristiano couldn’t accept the role I offered him,’ I’d understand. Managers make choices. Players disagree. It happens.
But saying he stopped delivering after Madrid? Come on.
Imagine my sporting director calling me.
‘Jose, I’ve found a striker. More than three hundred goals since leaving Real Madrid.’
I’d ask, ‘What’s the problem?’
‘He’s 41.’
‘Okay. And?’
‘His former manager says he’s been finished for years.’
I’d say, ‘Then please send me the statistics of the players who are not finished. I’d love to see them.’
And let’s discuss United. Cristiano scored a hat-trick against Tottenham to win 3-2.
Imagine me walking into that dressing room and saying, ‘Gentlemen, unfortunately our striker didn’t press enough today.’
A player would ask, ‘Mister, didn’t he score all three?’
I’d answer, ‘Yes, but apparently we should have preferred three beautiful pressing actions and a defeat.’
It’s ridiculous.
I remember discussing an ageing striker with an assistant. He told me, ‘Mister, his legs aren’t what they used to be.’
I said, ‘I have eyes. Tell me something useful.’
‘He cannot run like the younger players.’
‘Can he still score?’
‘Yes.’
‘Then our job is to find a way to get him chances. If he cannot score anymore, we have a different conversation.’
You can build a team without Cristiano. Absolutely. But then build it.
Don’t spend years explaining why a player who left was the problem. Show everybody what you created after he left.
People say, ‘Jose, Saudi Arabia is different.’
Yes. But Italy wasn’t Saudi Arabia. England wasn’t Saudi Arabia. The Champions League wasn’t Saudi Arabia.
You cannot dismiss every chapter because you didn’t like the ending at Manchester United.
I respect Erik’s right to make decisions. He was the manager.
But if you say a player is finished and he keeps scoring, eventually people will ask you a question.
‘Cristiano’s goals are still being counted. What exactly are we counting on the other side?’”
Well you have to fear girls, they pretend to love you just to sleep with you😂😂😭.Not my words though,it's Choir master😂😂Come all,we have good and quality phone cases🙏💯
Loyiso Bala has responded to allegations labelled against TKZee by Gwyza at King David Podcast
Loyiso says he has taken a few days to let his emotions settle after the many untruths Gwyza shared on the King David podcast. What he says on this response doesn't come from bitterness. It comes from someone who refuses to stay silent while TKZee, including the late Tokollo, is unfairly disrespected. Tokollo, in his view the was the greatest lyricist this country has produced, never needed Gwyza's help to write a single song. He further said a 4 hour podcast can't be answered in one post, so we must consider this a sample. This is what he said:
"1. Gwyza claims Kabelo begged him to take drugs. I wasn't there, so I won't confirm or deny it. What I do know is this: years after Kabelo got clean, he arranged for Gwyza to attend a drug and alcohol rehabilitation programme at Hands of Compassion, and helped him get part-time work at Rhema. He stood by him even when he relapsed, and until recently Gwyza was attending Kabelo's home cell. So why would you try to tear down the one person who has truly cared for you? I can't help but wonder whether it has something to do with Kabelo's album coming out.
2. If Gwyza wrote those TKZee songs, why does the writing on his own albums after TKZee Family not come anywhere near that standard? My question still stands: in the songs you say you wrote for TKZee, which part did you write?
3. Did you even write your own verses on the TKZee Family album? We all remember that your verse on Fiasco took three hours to record, while the rest of us were done in 20 minutes at most. Mr and Mrs Fake took you the whole day. I believe Kabelo wrote most of your verses, and we had to wait patiently while you recorded your verses and the song line by line.
4. I have the receipts. Every one of us received an equal share of the publishing on the TKZee Family album, 14% each, even on songs we didn't write. That is the generosity of TKZee. Zwai, the man you call the most evil, created the music and could have taken the biggest share up to 50%. Instead, he took the same share as everyone else. Is that what evil looks like to you?
5. I watched your solo set at the Radio 2000 Family Day 2025, made up mostly of TKZee songs. If we are family, why didn't you call any of us up on stage, or book us on the same bill?
6. Finally, didn't you call me a few months ago asking me to join you and Sbu Malawyer in a group called Members of TKZee Family? I said no, because I could see the heart behind it. It was built to go against the very people who opened the door to this industry for us.
Gwyza, until you are ready to speak with honour, please don’t mention my name again in your follow up interviews.
Our brothers we have lost would be deeply disappointed. I'm almost certain they would remind you of the very words that came out of your mouth on "Sikelela": "Together we stand, divided we fall." "
