A 42-year-old man has been arrested after the body of his wife was found in the boot of her car at a shopping complex in Brackenhurst.

The woman was reported missing by her friend on Friday. Her body was later found with stab wounds inside the boot of her BMW.

The suspect is set to appear at the Alberton Magistrates Court on Monday.
