Uniswap has always been the pioneer of innovation and development in the DeFi space. It is because of Uniswap's open-source contribution that the AMM space has flourished.

Recently @Uniswap introduced 0.15% swap fees on their protocol, and they were met with criticism from some sections of the Web3 industry even though they had every right to do it.

For those who are concerned should know that @Uniswap protocol and interface are open source and anyone can deploy their own frontend if they want to bypass the fee. Our team at A51 Finance took the initiative and deployed a fork of the Uniswap interface with swap fee removed. We are calling it DEX51.
