What's it like to be a chorister and sing in the world-famous Choir of Westminster Abbey?
As well as singing the daily services in the Abbey, our choristers play a central role in the many royal, state and national occasions held here.
With small class sizes and outstanding pastoral care, the boys benefit from a broad and balanced academic education while also enjoying the many opportunities that come with singing in one of the finest choirs of its type in the world.
This magnificent view of the Abbey was taken during works we've been carrying out on the nave ceiling.
Working from a scaffolding platform built 100 feet (31 metres) above the Abbey floor, our stonemason is making essential repairs, including consolidating the stonework, repointing lime mortar where deterioration has occurred over time, and carrying out careful surface cleaning.
This outstanding gentleman, who just happens to be the Japanese Ambassador to the United Kingdom, has more patriotism in his heart and soul for this Country, than what most of our politicians do, including our odious Prime Minister!
Thank you Sir 🏴🇧❤️🇯🇵
Harry and Meghan have deliberately used a ‘Royal tour’ blueprint, as part of this trip to make money. They are doing exactly what Queen Elizabeth II was against. This is the half in half out whereby they use their Royal platform to line their own pockets. To use Australia, a commonwealth country where Harry’s dad is Head of State is of course on purpose. As it was choosing Australia, directly after Anthony Albanese invited the Prince and Princess of Wales for an official visit. Harry and Meghan are cashing in on their titles, Harry’s birthright and the Royal family. That’s exactly why they started with a Hospital QEII opened and Diana and Charles had visited.
They are deliberately cosplaying working Royals and cashing in 💰
Why are Harry & Meghan visiting a hospital, when they are on a commercial visit to Australia? They are NOT working royals. They should NOT be using charity to muddy the waters in the hope that these money-grubbing husters will be mistaken for individuals who care about charity. Both of them have already shown us how they cynically capitalise upon charity, using it as a Trojan horse to gain access to others' scoffers, through their behaviour in the last few years, especially at the Sentebale Polo match in Florida.
And the hospital in question is little better. How dare they take sick children out of their beds and line them up like sitting ducks for a photo op with those two rapacious, money-grubbing, disloyal jerks who use everyone and everything as fodder to satissfy their greed for money and attention.
The Duchess of Edinburgh has formally opened the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Veterans centre at @RHChelsea .
This new centre will provide a welcoming space for veterans to socialise, stay active and build friendships.
During the visit, The Duchess toured the centre and met veterans who are benefiting from the Chelsea Pensioner Veterans Outreach Programme.
To the Patients and Staff at The Royal Marsden,
As spring arrives, these narcissi from the Isles of Scilly are to say I am thinking of you all.
Catherine
Chelsea football players completely IGNORE children waiting to see them.
The footballers have been slammed online after refusing to even acknowledge the children as they excitedly waited to see them.
Sorry I think this is really sad that they do not acknowledge this children. Not a wave or even a smile but deliberate in blanking them. Not a good look in my opinion.
Marking 30 years of The Amber Trust 🎶
The charity, of which The Queen is President, is the only national charity dedicated to supporting vision-impaired children in their musical development and education.
🥁 At a reception at St James’s Palace, Her Majesty watched a recital performed by members of The Amber Trust and met the performers and their families.
