@ForMYCanada@JasminLaine_ Been thinking about PP & his base of MPs that push his lies & aren't calling for a new Leader. We didn't just dodge a bullet, we dodged a full-blown takeover & a dictatorship like the US. That's why there is no one to step up to oust him
We have about 6 housing units going up in my city for low-income housing PM @JustinTrudeau who bypassed Doug Fraud and made deals directly with cities. That's why we kept electing him 3 times.
Great news! Great decision! It's older than our beautiful flag 🇨🇦. History must be preserved.
PM Carney says 24 Sussex to be restored with fundraising campaign, design competition https://t.co/UqVlj0JatT #nationlnewswatch via @natnewswatch
Someone who used to work closely with Canada's main opposition party is a lobbyist for a group that is seeking relief from a municipal noise bylaw in a Western Canadian city. Got it? Big news, I guess?
Imagine, for a moment, if every federal party leader stood together and issued a joint statement:
“Today, we welcome the Government of Canada’s decision to restore 24 Sussex Drive. Regardless of our political differences, we recognize that the official residence of Canada’s Prime Minister is a national institution that belongs to all Canadians—not to any one government or political party.
If we were in government, we too would proceed with these necessary renovations. This is about preserving our history, our democracy, and one of the country’s most important national symbols for future generations.
We will therefore encourage our members, supporters, and donors across Canada to contribute—whether $5, $50, or $500—to help restore this historic residence. Together, Canadians can ensure that 24 Sussex once again reflects the dignity, heritage, and international stature of our country.”
Some things are simply bigger than politics. Preserving Canada’s national institutions should be one of them.
PS: in honour of my late mother Georgia who came to Canada with very little, my family pledges a donation for what is the home of all Canadians.
And yet Melissa Lantsman and Eric Duncan keep working for him
It's not in his plans, because he fears that attending will make donations from the irrationally triggered by rainbows demo dry up
And if donations dry up, the party will give him the boot
#SelfLoathing
MacEachern: Pierre Poilievre doesn't take advice. You see Andrew Scheer out today on 24 Sussex. You put out somebody who's lived in not one, but two official residents to criticize the prime minister. The lad's not for helping.
Conservative Party campaign manager Steve Outhouse defends MPs associating the party with issues such as COVID vaccine injury inquiry and ending "liberal racism" — calling it a strength of the Conservative brand: "I'm proud of it."
David Cochrane is on a bender about #24SussexDrive
Oh my goodness, Canadians can chip in and donate. @PnPCBC@CBCTheNational "big donors, little donors!" He's all worried this will cost 100's of gazillions! Settle down Dave. 😆😂
@MountainDreami2 His whole public career has been just gross. He’s a bigot a racist (ironically) and a misogynistic mouthpiece full of hate. He’s toast as Vance declines in the states so does his “influence”🤷♀️
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence of Finland: Canada really hit our radar screen in security and defence when, after Russia invaded Crimea, Canada took over the forward land forces lead in Latvia. Canada really projected stability in the Baltic Sea and in our eyes, Canada became a Baltic Sea power and NATO's eastern flank power.
