I think Carrie opening that closet door again is more than just a callback.
Margaret tried to shut Carrie away from the world, but Carrie opening it again feels like the moment she starts choosing for herself. She’s done letting her mother decide who she’s allowed to be.
Margaret basically created the rebellion she feared.
Carrie discovering she actually likes having the power was one of the wildest parts of the whole series.
She went from being terrified of her telekinesis to realizing she could finally make the people who tormented her feel powerless.
After everything they put her through, watching that switch flip was SO satisfying. She wasn’t just defending herself anymore, she was taking control.

@JC_Gilgamesh@ScreenCraveHQ You should get a blue tick, id love to see you around more, but seriously it’s not that deep bro, franks a pussy deep down.
people always joke that loki couldn't mind control tony in 2012 because the arc reactor was just a thick piece of metal blocking the spear.
but look at the actual lore from iron man 2. tony synthesized a new element based entirely on his dad's research of the tesseract. the arc reactor was literally generating synthetic space stone energy.
the mind stone didn't fail because it hit glass. it failed because it tried to hack the localized energy field of a rival infinity stone. tony was accidentally walking around with cosmic immunity.
This scene tells me a lot. When Jean was in control, Hulk wasn’t buff or big; he was more like Smart Hulk. But when Hulk really came out, he was buff as hell. I think the last time we really saw the Hulk was in Infinity War against Thanos
She does not walk out of that gym. She flies, and the book never let her.
King keeps her on the stage. Doors lock, the blood is already on her, and she kills them from where they put her.
The series has her leave the floor, cut a path through the crowd, and Emaline is in her ear asking to take over. Same bucket. Completely different girl holding the room.
Did we just watch Carrie, or the girl who got to leave?
What if Jean Grey is the reason Ned remembers Peter in this scene?
She could’ve loosened Doctor Strange’s spell, allowing the memories that were suppressed to come back. That’s how Ned remembers the handshake and Peter Parker himself.
Somehow psychically Jean broke the spell and Ned remembered a bit.
