For about four hours last Friday, many Winnipeggers watched a hostage-taking incident unfold in West Winnipeg.
What most people didn't see was what happened after the cameras left.
The incident ultimately involved 77 police units and contributed to a city-wide call queue that grew to more than 300 calls over the weekend.
