Furries are just whatever anthropomorphic style animal you identify with, there is no underlying beliefs or center to it. So although you can be a furry and a brony, you can be a brony and not a furry.

I'm seeing a lot of posts about furry vs brony. I am an OG 2011 brony, it's roots were based in a very specific counter-cultural movement, it was a radical belief at the time to be a male aged 10-20 and enjoy a girly show. It had an ethos faust described when making the show.
