The PSBlackout protest begins tomorrow, August 23.

The campaign is calling on PlayStation users to stay logged out of PS5 and other PlayStation services for several days as a way to protest Sony’s recent decisions.

Supporters are being asked to avoid logging in, making purchases, and using PlayStation services during the protest.

The protest is expected to run for several days

Starting tomorrow, August 23 through August 30, let’s support the #PSBlackout campaign.

So for one week:
❌ Don’t play on PlayStation

❌ Don’t make in-game purchases
❌ Skip PS Store purchases
❌ Skip logins & purchases
❌ Cancel/avoid subscriptions if you can
📀 Support physical games & preservation

The goal isn’t to hurt developers. It’s to send Sony a clear message:

Gamers still want the choice to own their games.
