This coast is a tidal or marshy flat that emerges during low tide and submerges during high tide (intertidal zone). This unique phenomenon occurs because the beach has a very flat slope and as the tide recedes, the water retreats far into the Bay of Bengal, leaving the ocean floor exposed, showcasing a rare spectacle of tidal processes, sediment deposition, and coastal geomorphology.
