That list is solid, I’m not gonna sit here and say it isn’t. But if Frank Gore ain’t on it, the list is missing somebody.

Dude played 16 years. Running backs don’t do that. He played 241 games — most ever at the position. Third all-time in rushing yards with 16,000. Nine 1,000-yard seasons. Still getting the ball in his mid-30s when most backs are already done.

He wasn’t the flashiest guy every Sunday. He just never stopped showing up. That matters. You can’t talk about the best backs ever and skip the guy who outlasted everybody. Leave Gore off and you’re ranking highlights, not careers.
