Sutton South are seeing an increase of burglaries or attempted burglaries.
Please see the below crime prevention;
- CCTV or doorbell CCTV at minimum
- Motion sensor lights at the front and rear of property
- Making sure that all doors and windows are locked and secure.

YEAR 5 SAFETY TALK BY THE POLICE,

SNT Officers from North and South Sutton visited Year 5 at Westbourne Primary School to discuss how to stay safe and out of trouble; and how to avoid/manage difficult situations, strange dangers, safety when carrying cell phones, etc. :)

The meeting will include your local policing team and counselors from Sutton council.

The team are getting reports of a bogus window cleaner in the area, who is asking for money for work that he had not carried out!
Please be aware, don't answer the door to anyone you don't recognize.

On Wednesday officers from Sutton South SNT attended the Hello Groups annual Christmas Party at Christchurch!

It was great to attend the Sutton South Hello group’s Christmas party yesterday. The group for the over 50s has been running since 2013, helping to combat loneliness and bringing people together. Really enjoyed the singing and dancing!

In this hot weather, we all hate getting into a hot and stuffy car 🥵 but we would like to advise all vehicle owners not to leave their windows open when the vehicle is unattended. 🚗
This is to prevent offences such as theft of motor vehicle and theft from motor vehicle. 🚔🚨

Here on Sutton South, we don't tolerate stolen vehicles. This vehicle was found by officers and it was displaying the wrong VRM. Further checks conducted and the vehicle was stolen!
We quickly got the vehicle recovered!

Whilst out on patrol, officers from Sutton South have found a knife hidden in some bushes.
This was located near to Overton Grange school.

17 Year old male arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis has been charged.

This was following a stop and search of the male after he tried to evade paying a fare at Sutton train station.
