Graceful even in defeat. No discreting the tournament, no individualistic thinking, no rigged claims. He said in an interview after the loss that Argentina had clear chances and missed, so they only have themselves to blame.
That's accountability, maturity and God rewarded him.

My boyfriend is probably wondering why i haven’t left him because he is broke . The other day he jokingly told me “if you ever find someone better , just go” i could tell he is insecure . Poor thing …what he doesn’t know is am not going anywhere , for some reason i just smell potential in him . He thinks i see his current balance , meanwhile am looking ahead , this one is bitcoin 2010 and am very patient .😭😂
One selfish move.
That's all it takes to turn years of loyalty into permanent distance.
People forgive.
But forgiveness doesn't always rebuild what broke.
Guard what matters
Even when your ego says otherwise.
Be careful about what you show others👇🏽
When Messi said he cried after the goal because of something unrelated to football, I don’t know why but it hit me harder than the hat-trick itself.
Maybe because we’ve spent so many years looking at him as something more than human.
Every time Argentina needed a hero, there he was.
Every time football needed magic, there he was.
Every time people said it was over, there he was.
And yet moments like this remind you that behind all the goals, trophies and celebrations is just a man carrying battles we know nothing about.
I think that’s why I’ve stopped caring about the debates.
The GOAT debates.
The era debates.
The league debates.
At some point you realize you’re watching the final chapters of a story that millions of people will tell for decades.
One day there won’t be another Messi World Cup game.
One day there won’t be another impossible assist, another left-footed finish, another moment where an entire stadium stands up because the ball found its way to him.
And when that day comes, football will continue.
But it won’t feel quite the same.
What a privilege it has been to watch him.
What a privilege it has been to grow up in the Messi era.
One day I’ll tell my kids that I watched Lionel Messi play football.
And they’ll probably never understand just how lucky we were.
@Adikastakes I remember in 2016 wen he won the euros and Messi had no trophy this man attacked Messi every interview he went to talking shit about him and laughing karma is a bitch knows
I was a Messi fan when “he needs to win with another club” was the GOAT requirement.
I was a Messi fan when international trophies were the final excuse.
I was a Messi fan when they said he was nothing without Xavi & Iniesta.
I was a Messi fan when his Copa América tears became a global meme.
I was a Messi fan when he finished 5th in the Ballon d’Or rankings after carrying football with goals, assists & a domestic double… just because of one bad World Cup.
I was a Messi fan when every legend could fly with club + country wings, but Messi only had Barcelona.
I was a Messi fan when people mocked his only “international trophy” as a gas canister.
I was a Messi fan when they called him timid because he led with football instead of shouting.
I was a Messi fan when the World Cup was still “the ultimate argument”.
I was a Messi fan when he was judged more for what he hadn’t won than for everything he had conquered.
Now he’s completed football and suddenly it’s “let’s enjoy both goats” 😭
Two goats ke? After all that suffering? Never.
We stood in the trenches. Vawulence continua 🐐
