@DanLifshatz Not even trying to get the number anymore. Just going with who I think is gonna win, or more precisely who I think FIFA wants to win. This is more spot on than betting Scott Foster
@DanLifshatz Knew it was coming soon but it still makes me sad. Thank you for a great betting season! Looking forward to your insights come late summer/fall!
@DanLifshatz Got it on mute and thought it was incomplete pass on replay. Didn’t even think about it. Look up a second later and Stroud’s scoring. Catches and fumbles: no one knows.
Huge shout out to @ssurovell for sending all History/Social Studies teachers at @theWPboard a flag that flew over the Virginia Capitol. Even though I just transitioned out of teaching my favorite subject, it will proudly fly in my office from now on! Thank you!
Pre-COVID phones were annoying because SOME kids were addicted. Today, almost ALL kids are addicted. I don’t blame the kids. Phone apps are designed to get them addicted. But phones cannot fall under normal “discipline” for that same reason. We must REMOVE access to phones
Burnt out and defeated teachers cannot and will not provide the best education for your children even giving their best effort, and how long can a defeated person give their best effort?
AI is not going away. We must fundamentally change the way we assess to get to deeper learning with more creative thinking skills, live presentations of learning, and plentiful collaboration. Teach our students to use AI instead of running from it. https://t.co/CCyCEfwzcT
Teach the kids what correct use of AI looks like. Give them a cheating point of reference: It’s like your parent or tutor doing it for you. Show them what useful tools the AI can make for them. Like most things: AI’s usefulness is in the hands of the user.
As teachers, it is our responsibility to guide students through the use of generative AI in a way that is ethical & responsible. If we don't teach them these explicit skills, how can we expect them to make informed choices?
