Listened to teacher on Radio4 PM stuck with entire Year 5 in Spain after Heathrow disruption. Her verve and calmness, the way she was making it an adventure for the kids (who will now journey for 24 hours by coach and ferry) was a classic example of why teachers are ace.

Down in London for several days with @noisyclassroom. Just had my first 🏊🏻‍♂️ swimming lesson in 30 years @Leisureforall Brixton Rec before early train to Northampton tomorrow. LO was to “swim very relaxed, and go home like you feel you have used no energy”. Nice 👌 😎 .

@FATCAed @RevRichardColes @elonmusk The problem is I’m pretty certain Elon Musk has tweaked the algorithms so
he doesn’t get properly community noted. Coles is on shaky ground about the right to say untrue things, as others have noted. What is concrete is that truly free forums need fairness as part of freedom.

@MrChis6 @adamboxer1 I think we should have a lot more discussion of education unions within all education communities and forums. They have a huge role, there is “power in a union”, and if there’s not vigorous discussion of members’ interests here, then reps get to gatekeep on grassroots discussion!

I’ve been back on eduX a few months, but the algorithm mainly pushes me Elon Musk (who I don’t follow) and tedious edufaction spats. So I missed this whole 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Curriculum Improvement Cycle starting up entirely, despite following all relevant accounts. eduX is broken; such a shame.
