Here’s a rough timeline for many ambitious young Zambian men:

• Graduate from university around 24–25
• Land an entry-level job around 26–27
• Begin to find financial stability in their mid-30s
• Achieve real financial independence in their 40s

I'm sharing this for the young monk who feels like he's falling behind financially.

Life isn't a sprint, and success rarely happens overnight. You still have time.

Focus on building your skills, your character, your network, and your discipline. Your season will come.

The biggest “problem” that I have is, I worked in Zambia for too long.

What this means is that, half the time, I know or I have an idea of how much things should cost and what factors drive different pricing models.

Sometimes I look at quotations and I’m like, this can’t be right.

Zambians, here is a free tip. Getting rich takes time, focus on volumes and not making abnormal profits on one deal.

If you satisfy one client in the diaspora, you have no idea how many opportunities will come your way.
