@stusfootyflash@Sharpeyofficial These finishes are now more commonplace, like Newcastle yesterday, but at the time they were extremely rare - so to even try it, let alone for it to come off, whilst live on national TV against the mighty Barcelona, who were seen as a step above English clubs was incredible
@AllThingsQuiz Paper salesman, assistant to the regional manager, Territorial Army member, Top Trumps expert and owner of a stapler put in jelly, what was the first name of the Office character played by Mackenzie Crook?
@AllThingsQuiz Joseph Kagarlitski, born Warsaw 1904, moved with his Mother to England at aged 8 and made as a career as a bookmaker. But which anglicised name that his Mother chose did Joe take for the eponymous name of the bookmakers, that still has over 1000 shops in the UK?
@BBCSport@jarrowarrow@bbcthree it said 18 because he was the 18th fastest qualifier, but as he was an automatic qualifier (came third in heat) he qualifies ahead of 16th and 17th fastest
@sfjlobe_8 Read an article the other day saying ‘in 2021 the Queen met with..’thought that’s odd as don’t think QEII did that, but they were referring to Camilla.Get the protocol but with their history, and so soon after the succession just to stop confusion they need a term to distinguish
@stusfootyflash@Sharpeyofficial With a modern lens it’s just a clever finish you seen quite a few times a season but back then it was almost unseen, genius, and to do it on the Champions League against Barca even better
@AbsoluteBruno Even more impressive - Peter Schmeichel played in 17 of the 21 home games that season and only conceded ONE goal - in the final home game, meaning he went over a year 4/4/94 - 9/5/95 and 17 matches without conceding a home league goal
@mkenn80 True, but in 35 years must of been 50ish main characters who have gone through the school, so makes sense a few would come back for the protest. But Sky, Chloe, Daniel, Imogen and others returns made sense. Yes, there was a lot to start with, but would like more going forward
Agree with some, not a fan of Haz and the instant forgiveness from the rest of the street, followed by his holier than thou attitude. Agreed Paul/susan/karl need big storyline soon. But I like the cameos, makes it more realistic that people/family would ‘pop back’ for events
It’s been a year since #Neighbours returned.
I remain undecided on whether reviving it so soon has been a good or a bad thing.
It’s nice to still have that world and these characters in my life but it can be a frustrating watch a lot of the time too!
