First session with the senior sports leaders done yesterday afternoon ✅ a mixture of S4, 5 & 6! We started off with some team building activities and even played some ‘scoop the hoop’ 😄 A lot of potential in this group and excited to see what they can achieve this year 🙌🏼

Delighted to announce that after a successful loan period (student placement 2) I have signed a 1 year contract extension (probation year) to keep me at Govan High for the upcoming school year. Absolutely buzzing to be back and the hard work has already started 🔴⚫️ @GovanPEdept

This time 1 year ago, I was days after reconstructive knee surgery. The only thing that got me through the dark days was knowing I had a place on the PGDE course. 1 year on I am so happy with my progress in so many areas of life - and that to me is a massive win #appreciation

Sunday night reflection - coached in my first school game this week as my St Paul’s seniors beat Hyndland in the Scottish Cup! Tough game which required penalties but the boys kept their composure. One ticked off the bucket list for me and looking forward to the next round 🙌🏼 ⚽️

#StrathPGDE have been learning all about the cooperative learning model through gymnastics. Some jigsaw floor sequences, peer teaching of skills progression and STAD apparatus work. Looking forward to see how they go next week applying this in their student-led sessions #ToeToToe
