@naomicfisher @Bec_Gerlings 1/2 When my son started Year R, we used to get termly attendance letters with traffic light colours and a catastrophic message about how being in the red zone would reduce your chance of GCSE success at 16. He teetered on the red zone due to his asthma.

@RudyandPud @jonnybid @Ofstednews Shocking! We’ve just received a letter from my daughter’s Primary school about child anxiety workshops for parents, which shows schools are still trying to address the impact of covid. These things are a reality not an excuse.

@jonnybid @Ofstednews I also question why the letter acknowledges the strain school communities (staff and pupils) have been under since the pandemic and want to know if there have been changes in inspection policies to take account of that.
