@ScrewedProdigy He caught her playing with her necklace it made him think she was a little nervous. “I got into some trouble in the city after I met you so I moved here to just keep my head down and run the gym quietly. Are you ready to order?”
@ScrewedProdigy “Yeah dance isn’t my thing I’m sorry. I’m sure you’re a great teacher.” He smiled over the table at Sylvie. What’s new since we last seen each other back in the city?”
@ScrewedProdigy Rick followed her inside. “I’m pretty sure you’re a very good dancer.” A waitress took the to a table and gave them a menu and left them for a few minutes. Rick took a seat and looked over at Sylvie. “I’m glad you’re here.”
@ScrewedProdigy Rick could tell Sylvie was facing some demons. He’d been there himself on more than one occasion. He wouldn’t force her to talk about it yet. “Nah you had a great session I told you dancers are good boxers.” He smiled and opened the door to the restaurant, gesturing her in first.
@ScrewedProdigy Rick smiled at Sylvie and nodded when she said she was sore. “Yeah it’s a good sore. Using muscles you probably haven’t used for a while but maybe not since you’re a dancer. Dancers will always make good boxers. I’m glad you enjoyed the session.”
@ScrewedProdigy “Yeah I’m ready.” He walked her out of the gym and down the steerer to where the Chinese restaurant was. “So how were you after your gym session the other day?”
@ScrewedProdigy “Yeah?” Rick smiled at her. “We can go anywhere. There’s a Chinese restaurant just down the road we can walk. I just gotta go change my shirt. I’ll be back in a sec.” Rick went to the changing room and put on a clean shirt before returning back out to Sylvie.
@ScrewedProdigy He walked over to her. “I did recognise you but I didn’t want to say anything about how we met. I didn’t want to upset you. I was waiting to see if you recognised me first.”
@ScrewedProdigy “It’s really up to yourself you don’t really have to wear anything while shadow boxing but you can wear whatever you want.” He smiled over at the woman.
@ScrewedProdigy He climbed down from the ring just as Sylvie was leaving the changing rooms. “Well I won’t hear any complaints about them smelling like rosies. So I’ll see you again next time.”
@ScrewedProdigy He smiled as she went to the changing room. Rick didn’t get many people coming into the gym so he was glad Sylvie had came in for a workout and hopefully she would spread the word around and could get business going again.
@ScrewedProdigy “It’s called shadow boxing from boxers watching their own shadow as the perfect the craft. Imagine having an opponent in front of you is the best way to do it.” He watched as she easily danced her way out of the ring. “It’s been nice having a woman around. Come back anytime.”
@ScrewedProdigy “I think you’ll do very well you’ll have fast feet from being a dancer. One thing to practice at home or here in he gym is shadow boxing. I think it’ll benefit you. Skipping and building a little muscle too. So that’s your homework.” He teased playfully. “I’m always ++
@ScrewedProdigy “Good. You’re doing good. The potential is there Sylvie.” He took the pads off. “On a Monday night and a Friday night we run some boxing classes and you can use the gym as much as you like. I’ll see if I can get you someone to spar with see how well you can take punches.”
@ScrewedProdigy He started with just easy one twos to get her used to the movements then changed it up to one one two one and other combinations that would have made her have to think about it for a second. “You’re doing good. Heart rate climbing yet?”
@ScrewedProdigy Rick let her punch the pads a few times before he interrupted. “Okay so I’m gonna give you a rather. Right pad is one and second pad is two so if I say one two you punch the right then the left. Wanna try it?”
