@TheMillersEdge I agree! But I don’t want to know they did it. No one talking to media members about it, no one chirping on here, just getting better each day so when the time comes they can get the job done.
@ClintRLamb@AlafrigginBama Also when I first saw this I thought it was super counter with #40 pulling too which would have been sweet.
Seems like on this play the down blocks are violent while the kick and wrap are loopy and passive. Hope they can keep getting better!
@ClintRLamb@Kingjacob_17 Really liked what you said today about Grubb’s “system”. That would be hard to play under.
I don’t like watching the defense very much, but Coack Womack has a plan and it’s fun to see them keep getting better.
Would love to see Coach Grubb really buy into something.
@ClintRLamb I’m owning it. I told a buddy that Bama was soft and bad. It was the early kick return and the poor angles on tackles that got me. Won’t take it back but I’m going to try to head down from WA and support the fellas, as infuriating as it might be!
@CoachMaher_ATL@CoachHenning75 Would you be willing to share some of your pin-pull rules if I sent you a DM? Lots of work to do and I think that might be a series we work towards next season!
@CoachMaher_ATL@CoachHenning75 And 2. I think the combination of the DBLs and the angles the kids get to play with really help us against equal competition (as well as pretty easy flexibility to attack different fronts and blitzes).
@CoachMaher_ATL@CoachHenning75 I love power and counter (as a pair) because 1. I think we personally are better at developing guards than TEs at our small school and we basically get to have three of them in our offense with our FB.
@CoachMaher_ATL@CoachHenning75 It does make sense. I love it! I think it’s interesting how people come to the plays and series they love. We are a Power/Counter Team who (until these past two years) haven’t been bigger and stronger than the teams we’ve been playing (with decent success).
