This video needs to go viral please until it reaches every government official responsible for protecting these communities. Mothers are crying because their children, including breastfeeding babies, were abducted from their homes. Their pain cannot continue to be ignored.
Many people are even saying they miss the days of Nasir El-Rufai because they feel the government responded more firmly to security challenges.
yet the so called PR warriors of @ubasanius are nowhere to be found. When it’s time to promote politicians, they never sleep. When innocent lives are destroyed, they suddenly lose their voices. Shame on you guys wallahi!
The Kaduna State Governor @ubasanius needs to see this and act. The victims deserve justice, the families deserve answers, and these children deserve to be brought home. #BringBackOurChildren #Kaduna
Morgan Rogers Update
• Morgan Rogers has given preference to joining the English champions. Other clubs are still actively in the race but acknowledge the player's current preference.
• Morgan Rogers has respectfully communicated his desire to leave to senior figures at Villa (significant).
• Personal terms have been explored and are not a hindrance at all.
• Morgan Rogers is sold on the Mikel Arteta project and plan for him.
• Morgan Rogers was on the shortlist of attacking reinforcements Arsenal discussed last summer.
• My understanding is that Villa and Arsenal are in contact through unofficial channels regarding any potential deal. Remember my words: the fee is key to this deal. The player is fully on board.
• Andrea Berta has asked to be kept fully informed about any other club making a move for Morgan. If Arsenal do make a move, there will be another update.
Chelsea, in particular, have been pleading with Morgan to showcase their plan for him, but as of today, the response is "Arsenal." Manchester United have also explored the situation of Morgan, with Carrick being a big fan.
Bradley Barcola and one other player are also of interest to Arsenal. Details on that in due time.
Arsenal are also in direct contact with multiple midfielders, as recently as a few days ago. The likes of Bouaddi, Scott, Kone, Larsson, and two others. As I mentioned yesterday, we are yet to make contact with any club officially while Berta explores personal terms with all of them. One of these players is convinced he is joining Arsenal. It's important to remember that Livramento also felt the same way, but it highlights how strong the conversations are.
Arsenal are also monitoring the Madrid midfielder situation. Tonali was offered to us in January; talks have never surpassed personal terms as of today. These clubs are using Elliot Anderson's deal as a market scale. Newcastle want crazy money, as do Palace for Wharton.
Personally, I hope its Ayyoub Bouaddi we accelerate a move for!
Taking a very short holiday. I'll be back!

*Bendera Uruguay pun ikut diangkat biar samaan.

New Year Announcement
As the sun set today at Maghrib, we welcome the blessed month of Muharram and the beginning of a new Islamic year.
Muharram is one of the sacred months and a beautiful opportunity to renew our intentions, increase in worship, and draw closer to Allah.
Among the great opportunities in this month are:
- Fasting on the Day of ‘Ashura (10th Muharram) - a means for expiation of the previous year’s sins.
- Fasting the Ayaamul Beedh (13th, 14th & 15th of the lunar month) from the beloved Sunnahs of our Prophet.
May Allah grant us a year filled with barakah, guidance, forgiveness, and steadfastness upon His obedience.

We just had a lengthy discussion with a respected elder brother from Northern Nigeria who lives in the diaspora about the surge in insecurity across the region.
He raised a very important point, asking that beyond lamentation, what can we do, within the law, to help curb the situation?
He observed that whenever such incidents occur, we express our frustrations for a few days and then move on. In contrast, he cited the recent Ibadan incident and highlighted how their influencers and the community leaders responded with concrete actions, which ultimately produced the desired results.
He suggested a number of ideas, including peaceful protests, policy briefs, and other forms of civic engagement.
I promised him that I would bring the issue to the public so that we can gather contributions and ideas on how to move forward.
So, what do you think we, as a people, both at home and in the diaspora, can do to contribute to addressing the problem of insecurity in Arewa?
Arsenal fans have learned something important over the years.
It's not the name that matters most.
It's the fit.
Tzolis at 24, left-sided, already playing at the highest European club level... that's not a gamble, that's a profile.
And €40m for a player at that age and in that form is the kind of deal that looks cheap three years later.
What I find interesting though is the line at the end.
This doesn't block Rogers. It doesn't close other doors.
That tells you the club isn't shopping for one answer.
They're building depth with intention.
The teams that win things consistently aren't just the ones with the best starting eleven.
They're the ones where the eighth, ninth, tenth player is still dangerous.
Arsenal seems to finally understand that.
And if they get this right, the summer doesn't end with one signing people debate.
It ends with a squad that has no obvious weak point to attack.
That's when teams stop being contenders and start being champions.

SUNDAY DIGEST 🎩
By Hajara Usman
When I write about Nasir @elrufai, it is not because he doesn't have his own frailties or hubris as a person. It is because he possesses certain qualities that often resonate with me as a leader-vision, intelligence, eloquence, courage and dogged determination. His strength of character, loyalty to any course he chooses to pursue and the ability to read political dynamics are important ingredients any politician who must succeed in the murky waters of politics must have.
It is very natural for any leader, no matter how good, no matter how fair to have those who must hate, vilify and attack him especially if his regime runs contrary to their expectations, comfort or manipulative tendencies.
I will only reference two examples of why El-Rufai has made implacable foes from two strong groups in Kaduna-the majority Christian people of Southern Kaduna and members of the MNI led by Sheik El-ZakZakky.
Insecurity predates the administration of El-Rufai in 2015 when he became governor. Clashes between herdsmen and farmers were rife not only in Kaduna state but most parts of the North. Before this time, the Sharia riots between 2000 and 2001 during the administration of Ahmad Muhammad Makarfi had already sectioned the Kaduna metropolis into Christian dominated settlements and Muslim traditional enclaves. There were also ethnic, religious and political tensions between the Southern Kaduna people and the Hausas in Kaduna.
Criminal elements among the Southern Kaduna people used the opportunity created by these tensions and perpetual clashes between farmers and herders to begin a lucrative trade of cattle rustling often leading to the deaths of herdsmen who in turn carry out reprisal attacks. These
criminal elements operating like latter day bandits will attack herders in transit through their communities or raid their rugas killing them and their families while carting away their cattle to sell. This led to so many killings on both sides of the fulanis and Southern Kaduna indigenes which El-Rufai inherited.
As a courageous, firm and purposeful leader, he dusted up the recommendations of the Gen. Luther Agwai report that recommended compensation for certain fulanis aggrieved because they had lost loved ones and cattle and vowed to avenge the deaths of these loved ones. He implemented the recommendations in order to stop the mindless loss of lives on both sides which I believe was a bold step any good leader, desirous of solving a problem and preserving the peace among people of his state should take.
He thereafter warned all concerned to shun criminal acts capable of breaching peace which his administration was not ready to condone and gradually, peace returned to the troubled zone of kaduna South but then, criminally-minded elements, fueled by inverterate hate continued their campaign of calumny, using religion and ethnic sentiments to try and blackmail El-Rufai into submission.
I have mentioned in previous posts, the fact that at the height of this campaign of hatred, insecurity returned to the Kaduna- Abuja express road through the Gonin-Gora axis mainly inhabited by the Christian Settlers there. Their youths will stop vehicles plying that road and bring out travellers suspected to be Muslims either through dressing, looks or language, take them into the bush and murder them in cold blood just like what is happening in Plateau state presently.
El-Rufai invited the elders of that settlement and warned that if they don't stop their murdering youths operating on that road, he will level Gonin-Gora to the ground. The elders called off their youths and that's how sanity returned to that axis until banditry took over once more.
