He made this statement after a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House on Friday.

British sources report that London and Washington have decided to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles, but are not yet ready to announce it. The deployment of the missiles, Western officials add, should be part of a broader plan to end full-scale war.
