Pleased to be able to share my new role as a Head of Year 8 from September. It’s mad how things go but I feel ready for this and give it the best I can for the HSA community. 💜

@SancroftAcademy Outstanding from the students who represented our school. Never gave up and cheered everyone over the finish line. Saw one of our year 8s run half way around the track to run with someone from another school who needed some encouragement. Honestly outstanding from everyone.

My Grandmother always cooked tasty food. But one day, she put a burnt pie in front of my Grandpa.

Not just a little burnt, but black as coal.
I waited to see what my Grandpa would say. But he just ate the pie and asked how my day was.

Then i heard my Grandmother apologize to him for his dinner.

I'll never forget his response.

"Dear, i like ur pie."
Later, i asked him if he had told the truth.
He put his arm on my shoulder and said, "Your Grandma had a tough day at work."
"She was tired."
"The burnt pie didn't harm me but, a sharp word could've hurt her."

We all make mistakes.

We shouldn't focus on mistakes but, support those we love.

Couldn’t retain the title this year but being one game off making the final again was still good. Was a pleasure as always playing with my team and we did win our one game on the tv pitch 🎥
