What I do know is that I’ve spent nearly 43 years trying to understand myself. This process has helped me do that more than I expected.

A little life update.

At the beginning of this year, I (re)started therapy because I recognized that I was in a depressive place. I didn’t go looking for a diagnosis. I was looking for a better understanding of myself and the tools to move forward.

What’s been unexpected is that this process has already changed me.

I’ve found myself looking back at different moments with more curiosity and less self-criticism. There are things I always assumed were personal shortcomings that I now see through a different lens.
