@wholyv I like that it can take my designs and animations and reproduce them quickly, consistently, and accurately.
I like no longer having to use garbage software that I hate in order to do a project for a client.
It’s just a clock. It’s changed twice a year, my entire life, and has never been an issue, not even one time.
I think it’s fine. No need to overreact to everything.
Just leave it alone and worry about something bigger.
@luckeyfaraday We’re so far past anything worth clinging to, that AI couldn’t possibly make things worse than private equity, social media, and algorithms already have.
The time to get mad was 25 years ago. Now is the time to adjust.
@Dexerto That’s going to work out great for the guy, I’m sure.
I hope he’s able to keep up with his coworkers, because that’s the only part people are going to measure.
@salmanso_ Yes. Remember before AI, when 90% of people were insufferable idiots that didn’t know how to, or didn’t care enough to, do their jobs correctly?
Turns out those people can do more shit work, just faster now.
The other 10% are doing great!
@LogossoMaya I assume it’s because of rent that they charge so much. The food I ate there last week was expensive, but not anything special.
There were a lot of options of places to go, but the quality was on par with what I could have had at any point in my life, for way less money.
@ayushsoni_io Joke clearly noted, but we are speed-running through trends now, so whatever this list is will be flipped entirely in 6-months.
Can’t wait until it’s safe to use “diagrams” again. For real? Diagrams are off the table?
@BigSto The photography is the worst part.
I don’t really care that your flyer looks the same as everyone else, I care that your flyer food doesn’t look like your actual food.
It’s also nonsense to Photoshop the hell of your food manually without AI.
The people are the problem.
@JackEllis I think that was Ralph Lauren’s plan.
Replace China with any number of low-wage markets, and your plan starts to look like every company’s actual business plan.
@omgsidewalks And the drop shipping? And the third-world ripoffs? Are they banning those too?
Etsy was ruined long before AI, so fixing it will take more than banning AI.
@BryceWGarcia Like every single other market, the moment a good idea works, private equity and institutional investors will start to stress it until there is nothing left to like.
It’s easier for them to exploit a market, than it is for them to build a market.
