As teachers develop more online content for students, a new educator skillset becomes necessary: digital content design.

Okay I have to give props and a shoutout if I have an issue that gets fixed. Thank you to @anna_phd for letting me know about the library loan. And thank you @ISUMilnerLib for the quick turnaround even with the mistake in article name they found it. Thank you so so much!
As educators we are constantly worried about access for our students. I’m over here trying to research and found a couple of article that might work and they are behind paywalls. #getyourmoney I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
Educators don't deserve what they're being put through.
A lot of districts have done a bait and switch. Promising social distancing and no dual mode classes and then packing classrooms and expecting teachers to teach kids at home and those in class at the same time.
@thesarahkelly We were able to feed our family of 4 for $200/mo. We stopped buying crap online. The only fun thing we have done is Disney and paid cash for it. If we had not done that we would most likely be debt free. Stop being a victim and work to get out of debt. 3/3
@thesarahkelly I have cash flowed a trip to Disney for 8 days with my family of 4. A new driveway $6,500. 2 extended hospital stays. 3 surgeries. But also paid off $55,000 in other debt. All while working with 2 teacher incomes of less than $50,000 each. We stopped eating out. 2/3
EduTwitter is highly informed but highly critical of everything. One day, guided reading is good & the next day it’s problematic & not developmentally appropriate. Anchor charts are effective & then they’re not bc they’re too colorful😂 Approach cautiously. Unplug when necessary.
So puzzled that schools can't regulate if students wear a mask but can measure shirt hems, adjudicate whether a top is sleeveless, and judge what is acceptable hair color.
A competitive salary is an obvious and important way to acknowledge the hard work teachers do each day, but there are even more research-backed benefits to increasing teacher pay. https://t.co/VO4KFYhWFc
