@AllisonRFloyd@sisko2112 He literally said to pluck out your eye if you have a problem with other people wearing bikinis. It's pretty clear he's pro let women wear what the fuck they want.
Y’all, not to be a huge nerd but for the reflecting pool you would need a minimum of about 8,000 liters of 12% hydrogen peroxide to reach the 50 parts per million concentration to kill algae…
Is this what happens when you have 0 scientists in your administration?
@akaRCN It's Oilers logic. We've wanted Boone Jenner for years so he'll sign with us if Babcock is here and Nurse will leave because he doesn't want to play for Babcock. Maybe Jarry too.
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma So, you have no idea who watches CBC?
More than 80% of Canadians consume media content from CBC with 20 million doing so every month. Sportsnet's numbers are 9 million per month. But sure, who's going to watch? Why would Sportsnet want a bigger audience?
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma 1) you fail to understand why people are watching on CBC. Lots can't go to Rogers. If CBC airs a competing show, people will watch.
2) Damn, you're dense. Do you know what peasant vision is?
3) You don't have an answer because you're wrong.
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma And this is where you show that you don't know how money works again.
I never said CBC needed more money. I said CBC saw a better return doing something else. Which is to say, making money on their Saturday night broadcast instead of giving airtime for free to a competitor.
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma 1) This means that Rogers makes less money
2) This means that Rogers makes less money. Not everyone CAN come to their channel. Clearly you've never lived in a rural area
3) This means that Rogers has been leaving money on the table for 12 years.
Your argument lacks reason
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma If your thought was true, Rogers would never have partnered with CBC AND CBC would not have released a joint statement taking accountability and saying "we're so good at the Olympics!"
Again, companies take free advertising, free money, free market reach.
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma Good try but really falls short of reality
1. Rogers is not assured to get CBC's customers AND CBC is broadcasting in ways Rogers is not.
2. Rogers controls the ads and therefore is advertising Rogers products to CBC watchers.
3. It didn't take 12 years to figure that out
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma My apologies, I didn't realize you don't know how money works.
Your point is that Rogers no longer wants to accept free money for a show it is broadcasting anyways?
Do you really believe multi-billion dollar corporations don't want free money?
Is this your point?
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma Rogers would let me broadcast a game using an iPhone if I gave them enough money.
I guess reading comprehension isn't your thing though, huh?
@DJ789110@RomulusNotNuma CBC is saying it's due to the unprecedented success of the Olympics. Rogers has owned the rights for years. Why give the boot now? Because the CBC doesn't see the value of continuing the partnership at the rate Rogers is charging them.
@RomulusNotNuma I'm 90% sure that they're promoting Ryan Craig from the AHL team and they actually signed the contract before hiring Tortorella. Torts gave an interview on the 10th where he said they told him outright that it was temporary and he would not be back next year.
